the rolling hills about 10 miles east of Ensenada, Mexico. Mission teams and event groups

up-to-date accommodations in four facilities: the Hacienda, La Quinta, the Bridge House, and the
Barn. The campus also offers a large outdoor amphitheater and a fire pit surrounded with
benches for worship, teaching, and evening fellowship.
Rancho El Refugio offers safe, up-to-date accommodations for ministry teams and events of
all sizes. Over 26 years of ministry, hundreds of mission teams have made these houses
their home, and whether your group is a handful of friends or a camp full of young people,
one of the four houses below will fit your people. The whole campus, from the amphitheater
to the fire pit, exists to serve your time together.
The heart of the ranch
The Hacienda
The Hacienda is the most familiar home on the campus, the place many teams return to year after year, and the one generations of mission groups still call the heart of the ranch. Four bedrooms and two and a half baths give a traveling team room to spread out, while the full kitchen, dining area, and living room were made for group life: meals that stretch long, devotions that run late, and laughter that carries across the courtyard. Large windows open onto the ranch landscape, the surrounding mountains, and the ocean beyond, so the beauty of the property is part of every meal and every conversation. Returning teams often ask for the Hacienda by name, and first-time groups understand why the moment they walk in.

La Quinta is the newest two-story house on the campus, built with larger teams in mind and finished to welcome groups in comfort. Every one of its five bedrooms has its own bathroom, a rare and welcome luxury on a mission trip, and the common rooms were planned for gathering: a beautiful living room for downtime and prayer, a new kitchen ready for group meals, and an extra-large dining room with magnificent views of the northern mountain range, where a whole team can eat at one table. On-site laundry keeps longer trips simple, and the big windows keep the bright Baja light pouring in all day. Two stories, a private bath for everyone, and a dining room with a view make La Quinta the favorite of groups who have outgrown the smaller houses.

The Bridge House sits just above the staff house, and its living room and deck look straight out to the ocean, making it the most scenic perch on the campus. It is a warm, intimate option for teams that want to stay close together: three bedrooms and three baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large dining and living room area that feels like a home rather than a bunkhouse. For up to 14 guests, the Bridge House balances privacy with togetherness, and the deck has hosted more morning coffees, evening prayers, and long conversations than anyone has counted. Groups who stay here often describe it as the best view on the ranch and the most peaceful night of sleep on their trip, which is exactly what a team needs heading into a week of service.

Breathtaking ocean views from the living room and the deck
The Barn combines hearty group lodging with a true gathering space, and it is where the largest teams feel most at home. A bunk wing of three bedrooms with bunk beds hosts groups of up to 33 people, with 2.5 bathrooms shared across the wing, offering simple, adventure-style lodging that young people especially love. Joined to it are an auditorium and a kitchen that turn the Barn into the natural center of the whole campus: whole-ranch gatherings, teaching sessions, worship, talent shows, and shared meals all land here, with room for everyone. For a big youth group or a camp-sized event, the Barn is less a bedroom and more the beating heart of the week, where the whole ranch comes together after the day's work is done.

Every house has a kitchen, and groups often cook together, but the Barn's kitchen and
gathering hall also make whole-ranch meals possible for the largest gatherings. The
staff helps groups plan meals ahead, so no one is figuring out dinner at the end of a
long service day.

The ranch is set apart from the noise of the city, with fresh air, wide skies, and views
