Get involved
Ensenada Ministries exists to share the love of Jesus with individuals, families, churches, and communities in Ensenada, Mexico. The work happens because ordinary people say yes: teams load the vans, givers underwrite the meals and supplies, and pray-ers hold the whole thing before the Lord.
Three simple doors
Go, give, or pray: three ordinary ways that every one of us can take part in what God is doing in Ensenada. Start with whichever fits your season of life.
Bring a team from your church, school, or family to serve in Ensenada. Work projects, children’s ministry, food distribution, and friendships that outlast the trip.
Plan a mission tripYour gift feeds hungry children and families, supplies medical care, shares the gospel, and keeps the doors of the ministry open all year, not just when teams visit. You can give online through PayPal or by check in a couple of minutes.

Send a prayer requestStep 02 · Give
Giving to Ensenada Ministries is giving directly to the work on the ground. Here is what a faithful gift makes possible, month after month:
One gift, many doors
Meals · Medicine · Message
Fed, treated, taught
Practical care and the gospel travel together in every program.
More ways to take part
Beyond the three big doors, there are quieter doors that fit other seasons and other gifts. Any one of them keeps you woven into the work.
Rancho El Refugio opens its doors to church retreats, youth gatherings, conferences, and trainings. Four houses, an outdoor amphitheater, and a fire pit give your group a quiet place to seek the Lord together in the hills above Ensenada.
See the stay optionsFamilies, small groups, and churches sometimes feel especially drawn to one part of the work: Feeding the Kids, the prison church, medical supplies, or the migrant camps. Tell us which ministry is on your heart, and we can shape a sponsorship that keeps that door open.
Talk about sponsoringThe ministry shares photos, prayer requests, and updates from the field on Facebook. It is an easy way to stay close to the work, celebrate what God is doing, and know exactly how to pray in between trips.
Follow the ministryStep 03 · Pray
Before a team loads a single paintbrush, before a bag of groceries is handed over, prayer has already gone ahead. Here is what you can lift up today:
For the children in Feeding the Kids, that every meal comes with a lesson of love they remember forever.
For the women at the prison church, that their sanctuary stays a place of hope, worship, and new life.
For the missionaries and local pastors who carry the work forward every single day.
For the families we serve, that they know they are seen, known, and loved.
For the next team that will load the vans and cross the border to serve.
Tell us who or what to pray for, and our team will carry it forward. It is a small form that travels a long way.
Good questions
Share your dates, group size, and what your people love to do through the contact page, and the ministry shapes a week of work projects, children's ministry, and outreach around your group. Most groups plan anywhere from a few weeks to several months ahead, and the more lead time you give, the more the week can be tailored. Start with the mission trips page to picture the week.
Teams and events stay at Rancho El Refugio in four homes: the Hacienda (4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths), La Quinta (the newest two-story house with five private-bath bedrooms), the Bridge House (ocean views, sleeps 14), and the Barn (bunk-style lodging that sleeps 33). An amphitheater and a fire pit ringed with benches round out the campus.
